The journey begins here...

After about two years of planning, writing, researching, dreaming, and drinking, the time has finally come.  We're excited to introduce our pride and joy: Wet Coast Brewing Company.

We have been going through the painstaking process of writing our business plan and sorting through all the steps needed to achieve success.  Breaking into the craft beer industry as a Nanobrewery (producing 3 barrels or less than 100 gallons per batch) is not going to be the easiest of tasks.  In this competitive, yet inviting market, the trick is finding your place.  What we have settled on is: small brewery, BIG BRAND!

Wet Coast Brewing Company is first and foremost a local brand.  We feel that having a place where local customers can gather and break bread together, while enjoying some damn good beers is the cornerstone to our success.  YOU will be the ones to help spread the word and aid in growing our business.  Along with our local business we also want to turn the Pacific Northwest into the Pacific NorthWET and place ourselves within the highest ranks of Washington breweries.  To do that as a Nanobrewery, you have to build a brand that stands out.

To help with this we have partnered with a company simply known as Taphandles.  Taphandles is a Seattle based company that does pretty much everything you can imagine with beer marketing.  They are the elite of brewery branding and we couldn't be more stoked to work with them.  So far they have developed our master logo system and will soon be working on business cards, glassware, signs, coasters, and yes of course, taphandles.  Branding is one of the most exciting things a new brewery gets to do.  It's taking all the visions you have for your brewery and giving them life.  It has been an incredibly fun process and we're excited to finally get to share it with everyone!

What's up next?  Well, we're still in hot-pursuit of capital, need to secure our location, order and install some equipment and a few other steps along the way.  It's going to be an incredible journey, and we can't wait to share it with all of you!  That's it for the first blog post...check back often...and spread the word!

Cheers!
